Should we manage to escape from the confines of this dungeon with our lives and the glyph of deceit – the game is going to call it the glyph of honesty but it makes more sense to refer to the now-corrupted virtue – our problems will have only just begun. We still lack most of our equipment, our spellbook, our accumulated money and even our compass. Worse yet, we’ll emerge from the dungeon by Moonglow, a place that we’ve been warned about due to its people straying far from the virtue the town exemplifies. While we want to get our stuff back as soon as possible and have some very angry words with Samhayne, it’s best that we deal with the corrupted shrine of honesty while we’re in the area, a task that his treachery has made all the more difficult and that the people of Moonglow will make even harder still.

Now that I think about it, how did we bring our compass with us from Earth? Is it in fact a Britannia made device that appeared on our person when we arrived just like our armour or is it truly the thing from our home? It’s not likely to be the latter due to how the moongates normally work but considering how they’re not functioning at all right now and the fact that the one we entered was an odd purple colour instead of blue, perhaps we didn’t use a traditional moongate. If that’s the case, however, why didn’t we arrive with all the other stuff we were wearing and carrying?

Now I’m imagining the Avatar arriving in Britannia wearing his casual clothes and carrying a pizza box full of pineapple pizza. It may be one of the most useless thing to bring along, sure, but it’d be worth it just for the look on the face of the wrymguard that ambushed us.
