With the Avatar and Raven working together once more, we not only have all our equipment back but we can now use her boat to get about Britannia. It’s here that the world opens up even more, allowing us to backtrack to previous areas as we see fit apart from Ambrosia which isn’t accessible any more for obvious reasons. This allows us to go hunting for goodies we may have missed or couldn’t get without certain spells or equipment gained later in the game as well as grind for gold should the need arise.

We have two places that we can currently head to: Minoc and Yew. The latter of these can’t be accessed by boat, requiring us to travel to Britain then make our way on foot. This is perfect for us, however, as we have things we need to do in that city. We have a lighthouse gem to get cut, other gems to sell and a lot of things to put in our room in the castle. Then there’s reporting in to Lord British and the minor issue of all the spells we need to bind into our spellbook but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves.

Who knows, something important might pop up which will distract us from doing all these things.
