Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of Warhammer The End Times: Vermintide. This is it, the final mission of the main game. We will complete the 3 included DLC missions, but as for the main story this is the final chapter. In this episode we take our Witch Hunter, with our band of merry NPCs and head out to take out The White Rat, the brains behind the whole Vermintide. This level is tough, especially with our non-human teammates. They make their first mistake by passing up the table full of med kits, and going for the healing drafts instead. We can barely make it through our first encounter with the Skaven before everyone is severely wounded and using all their medical supplies. There are so many storm vermin in this first part that none of us stand a chance playing our usual charge into battle style. This is a relatively short mission, but we die so many times at the beginning that it ends up being around a half hour episode. Third time is the charm and we take it nice and slow through the opening part so we can safely advance to the second level. On the second level we have to blow up part of the support pillar that the Grey Seer is ringing his giant bell from. There are not nearly as many storm vermin on this level so it proves to be much easier. After blowing up the supports, the White Rat taunts us saying we barely made a dent. We then proceed to the third level and have to cut the chain supports. After the first one we have a rat ogre appear out of nowhere and start pummeling us. All looks hopeless until we are finally able to take the ogre down. Miraculously, not a single teammate is taken out, so we are free to continue chopping away at the supports. No thanks to any of our teammates. All of us are hurting for health with no supplies on hand, when we finally take out the final support. We watch the bell tower fall, and the Grey Seer plummet to his death. We hear the ending story, as the narrator explains the rest of the Skaven tear each other apart trying to compete for a replacement. He hints that we had won the battle, but the war was far from over. Sequel perhaps? We shall have to wait and see. We have three missions left to play, but as for the main story we have reached the end. I will see you all next time for the final three missions.
