Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. In this episode we continue exploring through the dilapidated hotel, or whatever we are in. We don't actually know, but it seems to be something like a hotel. We have our first minor jump scare, in the form of a woman popping up on the other side of a glass door screaming "Help me!" However, it's only going to get worse from here. We then witness a murder, and are instructed to hide form the killer while he searches the room. Just like in the first episode, this body dies in slow motion, in a warped section of the environment, which seems to repeat itself. After we witness this murder and escape the room, we enter another landing that looks just like the one we came from, except even more dilapidated and eerie. Complete with bodies hanging from the ceiling, and the sounds of a pendulum from a giant unknown clock creating tension in the sounds of the environment. We explore a little before heading the direction we're supposed to go. We head into a morbid looking art exhibit, with bodies falling and spewing blood everywhere. There is a woman wearing a white dress, with many arms. Perhaps a hint for what's to come? We find an elevator across the room, and take it to the basement, where a trail of blood heads through a hole in a chain link fence. On the other side is a dark room with many bodies hanging from the ceiling covered in white sheets. We walk across the room, to find a eye painted with blood. Turning around the entrance is gone, and replaced with a camera, We walk to the camera then turn around again to find a door. We walk towards the door and on the other side is the killer we saw before, and he takes our picture. Once we regain our vision from the flash, we find ourselves staring at the eye, only when we turn around this time, all the bodies are gone. Safe now, right? We head towards where the exit should be, to find a big glass mirror, with our photo posted on it, which was only taken moments before this. We see the reflection of someone behind us, but there is no one there... when we turn around we are greeted with a horrific sight, of a creature seemingly made of sewn together body parts, with multiple heads, and tiny baby arm fingers. She has a horrifying giggle as she chases us with her circular saw arm. We find ourselves climbing in the vents to escape her, but can hear the saw and the giggling. We drop down into a red room, and start running from her again, when we meet the killer from before. He throws a knife at us, which we pull out of our shoulder to fight off the thing chasing us. We run through the door and find ourselves in a small house, that has been ransacked. We find ourselves a gun just before heading outside, and look upon an overgrown community, that is strangely peaceful despite the cramped hallways we were getting accustomed to. We have a brief conversation with Kidman over the radio, then decide to take a break before exploring this town.
