Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. This episode starts out with a struggle as we forget how to speak and press all the buttons. We head Sebastian down the street, and find a car with a decomposing body inside and millions of flies. No time to dawdle though, and we head towards a house. When we get a little closer, we see a woman run inside, who has an interesting sounding voice. We come inside and see her feeding her son? Maybe? She's a little aggressive and smashes his head into the table over and over after stuffing his mouth full of slop. She turns her attention to us, and begins sprinting towards us as we shoot her down. She appears dead, but quickly stands up with a myriad of tentacles flailing around from her face. We shoot her again, and cause her head to pop off, which seems to put her down for good this time. We search around the house and find gunpowder for mixing with bullets later on. We begin heading towards Crazy Town, and hear gunshots in the distance. When we get closer, we see a couple people fighting off the zombie-like people. One escapes into a building, while the other is met with an unfortunate end. We are instructed on how to preform sneak kills, by crouching and sneaking up behind enemies to kill them when they are unaware. We are tempted to fight all of them, but there are a lot and we are ill-equipped so we decide to just take out a couple of stragglers. We kill the guy pounding on the door, and bash our way into it to go talk to the survivor. Unfortunately the remainder of this episode is mostly a giant cutscene as we get to know our new friend. We speak to him about various things, and actually acquire what appear to be side missions. We collect a few things around his shop, and find a save point. We learn a bit about how crafting works in this game, and craft a few bullets for our gun. This will be the last episode from this weekend's session, but I look forward to recording more next weekend.
