After the horrors of Nyctalinth, the lower levels of the Dane Tower feel more like a vacation than a challenge.
An update on class changes: by now my Priest and my Mage have had time to both change to Ninja for a few levels and then back to their original spellcasting classes again. That way, they gain Ninjutsu and Kirijitsu and, more importantly, many more spells, hit points and spells points a lot faster than would otherwise have been possible.
The obvious downside (in a short-term perspective, anyway) is that they're going to be rather weak for a while. If you're wondering why my Ninja is using a staff instead of swords, that's because I've been unable to remove this cursed quest item since my class changing Priest isn't powerful enough yet to cast a sufficiently strong Remove Curse. Hopefully this particular problem will be sorted out after the next level gain, though...
