Let's Practice: Dwarf Fortress (EP19)
0Dwarf Fortress is a incredibly complex and deep game. An archaic UI that uses every letter on the keyboard, ASCII graphics, and intense difficulty - this game probably has the most brutal learning curve, not gentle like mammals'.
But it's also very rewarding too. This game gets into every little detail about every last thing, something no other game can do.
Anyway, this first run is a practice run. Invaders are turned off so I can build in peace. I have played this a few times before so I know pretty well what to do, but this is one game where practice really does make perfect.
