It's time to do the quest in the Gorkha swamps. There are many ways you can handle the situation presented to you and while some are certainly quicker doing the quest not only nets you the item we want but also two very nice rewards that we'll be using for quite some time.

Contrary to what I originally thought the game doesn't spawn a whole new set of enemies when you start the quest. Instead, it seems to change all the boglyte spawns that are still alive with the new enemy type barring one very specific enemy that is holding the quest objective; that one spawns regardless of how many of the living swamp oozes you've killed. If you clear out the swamp before talking to the chief, only one enemy spawns and if you know where that is the quest can be achieved pretty quickly.
