High in the mountains, a peaceful settlement exists away from the troubles of the world, blissfully unaware of the fate that's soon to befall it. The day-to-day routine of life is almost humdrum in comparison to the fanciful stories that occasionally reach the ears of those who'll listen.
There's talk of monsters in the realm of the dwarves and a looming darkness that creeps ever closer with each day. But there's no need to fear, as surely that evil will never scale the mountains to reach the walls of Stonekeep. No, there the people are safe from harm, for what foe could fell a fortress as powerful as theirs?
The people of Stonekeep are to learn too late the folly of not heeding a warning given well in advance, but even in Pandora's Box housed once all the evils had escaped. Stonekeep's hope takes the form of one spared the destruction of his home and given a chance to return it to its former glory, through the risk will be great. To save Stonekeep he must risk his spirit in the ruins now tightly in the sway of the very one who felled it, a place of darkness and shadow. Can he save Stonekeep, the gods and the very world he lives in, or will he meet the same fate as those he barely avoided dying with?
Join me if you will as once more we descend into the world of Stonekeep.
One thing to note before we enter the game itself. This game originally had a minimum budget of $50,000 and a minimum production time of nine months. This cutscene ended up cost half a million dollars of a total budget of $5 million, with the project itself taking five years to complete.
