Magnus continues his project to play all the numbered (at least) Resident Evil games for the Lowbrow Gaming-channel! After being ravaged by disease and losing his voice, he's finally able to sit down and play some delightful horror
and hopefully it'll fancy your tickle. Resident Evil 2 picks up shortly after the events of the first game, focusing on Leon Kennedy on his first day of work in the Raccoon City Police Department. Something isn't right when Leon
comes in to work on his first day, when he's savaged by mindless people trying to eat him. On the way to the station he meets Claire Redfield, Chris' sister, who's in town to look for her brother who hasn't made contact after the
events of Arklay Mountains. Together (or separately, most likely) they must make their way to the station and try to survive the nightmare that is Raccoon City.

The gameplay of Resident Evil 2 focuses on exploration, puzzle solving and combat, and features typical survival horror elements such as limited saves and ammunition. The game's main difference from its predecessor is the "Zapping System", which provides each player character with unique storylines and obstacles. Resident Evil 2 was directed by Hideki Kamiya, produced by Shinji Mikami — director of the first Resident Evil — and developed by a team of 40–50 people over the course of 21 months.
