GRIME was my favorite metroidvania game that I had played last year, and this new update definitely keeps that ranked up there. While the update was relatively small, 3 bosses, a few areas, and a dozen weapons. Its melded very well into the base game so that it feels like a nice sizeable update. Plus its free so like why would I complain? GRIME was already amazing, and now that's even more so. How COULD I complain? Can't, its great.

The platforming can be a little obnoxious at times since you really do have to kill yourself to scout ahead of some areas, but outside of that and the map I can't really say much that's negative about GRIME, it just plays so damn well, and the OST is a real banger.

So yeah Colors of Rot isa big thumbs up for me, its more GRIME, and I always want more GRIME.
