The patrons have once again conspired to make me do a video about a topic that might be more trouble than it's worth, but as a servant of democracy I had to make it. Speaking of being a servant of democracy, have you ever wondered about NATO? In the UK and other long term member states it's such a part of the ambiance that it almost goes unquestioned and to some is unquestionable in the same way that to question Oxygen would be seen as outrageous.

What am I to do? Well obviously to question it. NATO not Oxygen. In the video I decided to look at the origins of NATO in the aftermath of World War II, what the motivations were for the forming of the predecessor alliances that served as the foundation of NATO. I then take a look at the general claims that NATO makes about itself and that its supporters make before I try to deconstruct them. Finally I just decide to go into what NATO is really for, if we consider the things they admit to in their mycrimes.txt style website (which is actually a good source for treaty texts and things like that so thanks for that I guess?)
