Trying Home Computer Heroes Collection 1 (Part 2) [Evercade #185]

And here's Part 2!
I really like Attack of the PETSCII Robots! Like I said in the video, it's like a mix between Alien Breed and Impossible Mission (though I don't yet know if it's randomized). The controls are intuitive, there is a good number of maps, the music is good, and the difficulty selections are a nice addition for beginners.
PETSCII and Citadel are probably ties for my favorite games on the cart.
Bridge Strike is alright, I guess. It's kinda boring. There's not a lot of action going on. And it has a really long load time for something that really doesn't seem to have much to it. The whole "balancing/choosing between fuel and points" becomes moot if the whole river is endless, which I suspect as even the game description points to that.
It just seems kind of pointless.
Tanks Furry is disappointing, on the other hand. Bridge Strike at least had music. Tanks Furry has some decent gameplay for what it is, and I suspect it would be somewhat more enjoyable in multiplayer, but I just expected more out of this one. I expected cute animal comic mischief a la Worms (maybe not to the extreme of Worms, but something along those lines).
Unlike Bridge Strike, Tanks Furry doesn't seem pointless. But it does disappoint and does not make me want to really go back to it.
And that's Part 2! Like I said in Part 1, this cart is a mixed bag. I liked PETSCII a lot, and I can find a few positives in Tanks Furry. It's just Bridge Strike that I don't really care for. Oh well. xD
Only one more part left. :)
