Let's Try: It's a Wrap!
Disclaimer: I received a key for this game from terminals.io.
It's a Wrap! Is an interesting conceit for a game: You are the movie star, but also the director. You have a timeline, with a variety of set pieces on it, an you have to move them around to find the right combination of action to fulfill the scene. You also have to then play out the scene by platforming through it as the lead character. It seems straight-forward enough, but I can assure you: the puzzles get challenging, and quick.
That or I'm an idiot. Honestly either's possible at this point.
The controls and interface are straight forward, and the art style, whilst a bit on the simple side, fits the vibe they're going for. Honestly I think it's to the games credit that things are kept simple, so that you're not being distracted from the puzzle of each level itself.
It's a cute game with a bunch of little secrets to find (if you've got the brains for it) and challenging but rewarding puzzles. My only hang up is I wish the script was a _bit_ more clear at times, because it's very easy to go down a rabbit hole trying stuff that was never going to work.
