Let's Try: Reky
0I picked this up in the massive itch.io bundle. I'll start by saying this game is polished. It's extremely pretty to look at, extremely smooth to play, and has a great ambiance to it that all comes together to inspire a very Monument Valley vibe. The developers of Reky should be extremely proud of what they've made here.
That all being said, the structure of these puzzles doesn't quite gel with me. They feel a bit too slider-puzzle for me (I dislike slider puzzles), which exhausted me by the time I got to the 3rd segment in the game. I'm not saying that the puzzles are bad, far from, in fact! They are extremely well-crafted to hammer in the mechanics, but I found it became a bit of a grind. Maybe that's because I was powering through as many as I could instead of taking breaks, maybe not.
I really do recommend giving it a try if you like puzzle games. It may not have landed for me personally, but this is an extremely good game that deserves to be played.
