Let's Try: The Away Team: Lost Exodus

In The Away Team: Lost Exodus, you play as the ship's AI, running things and generally trying to keep the humans in your charge alive. You are on a mission to find a new home for your people, since we goofed Earth up pretty bad. You skip from sector to sector scanning points of interest and making decisions that may or may not end up killing your extremely limited crew.
This game is basically a choose your own adventure novel made into a game. That sounds like I'm underselling it a little, but apparently there's roughly 80,000 words to the script of the game so there is a lot of adventure to choose. The game is split between 2 primary segments: flying around, and exploring points of interest. Flying costs fuel, which is a limited resource. Your crew also consume food, which is also limited. When you explore planets and such, you have to weigh the risk/reward of putting your humans into danger and just how much you're willing to go. There's also stats that your crew take on as they go on missions, becoming better at the jobs they are sent on. They also have personality traits that affect how you, the AI, interact with them and how they'll interact on any given mission.
Again, I feel like I'm underselling it. I really enjoyed my time with the game. I don't think I'll be streaming it anymore (it's basically me reading a book), but it is a very interesting game. The characters are well written, and the choices can be difficult. I'll probably come back to this game in my own time, and I'm interested to see how it plays out.
