Part 1 of my playthrough of Paradise Killer.

A quick explanation: you are a detective that was banished from a near-perfect incarnation of a paradise because you goofed a pretty important case, which brought about the demise of that paradise via demon infestation, and the spawning the next incarnation of paradise. Pretty standard. You're brought out of retirement because of a locked room murder where the entire ruling council was somehow killed and paradise is in jeopardy. Also everyone is anime and hot and have absolutely bananas names.

I am not sure what is happening in this game yet. I spend most of this first installment just kinda... wandering around and taking in the sights. This game is a lot. It's got a very specific aesthetic that is both low-fi and yet modern. You wander around picking up a perpetual number of collectables that are converted to evidence or just... fun to have to help flesh out the world. You can also interview people and gain further evidence. You have a computer that kinda puts all the connections together for you, but you the player will have to make the final judgement. It's a lot to take in.

Also there are roughly a billion collectables which is not going to be good for me, the completionist.
