You are a fledgling blacksmith, looking to make a mark on the world. You decide to catch a boat to Ellian, the land of artists and creators to prove your worth. When you get there you find out that there hasn't been a blacksmith around for ages, so you get the job by default! It's now up to you to forge your way across the land, fulfilling orders and solving problems in order to become the most famous blacksmith in the land. Oh and if you've got time, maybe find out what happened to the last guy who just sorta ... left.
This game is, effectively, a resource-gathering, crafting incremental with a great aesthetic and fun writing layered on top. You slowly solve peoples problems, world puzzles, and "dungeons" in order to expand what you can do. There is also a levelling mechanic (of course) and the ability to rebuild the town of Strom, which is where the blacksmiths reside. I didn't get too into the larger story in this video, but I fully admit I am hooked
