Level review #18 | Avernus by DrCuber and more
17Avernus is a megacollab hosted my DrCuber, it follows a lava/cavern style, probably in relation to the upcoming top 1 "avernus". My favorite thing about avernus is the theming, every part fits well together and every part is just very coherent in relation to the other ones. The gameplay is also really fun, everything is very straightforward, the sync is also interesting in some parts, like the first ship which uses invisible slopes to make the ship movements match the song. One thing I didn't like that much about the level it's the incosistent quality in some parts. The theming is really good between every part but some are clearly of higher quality than others. For example the part at 0:44 being much better than the first one (0:00 lol). Even so I still really liked the level in general and it's really good imo. (Also it has a funny first coin)
Gameplay: 9/10 (due to some weird clicks like the blue orb at 0:37 won't give it a 10)
Deco: 7/10
Total: 8/10 | Very solid. Deserves its feature for sure.
