The LG Maquee was first announced during CES 2011 as the LG Optimus Black in Europe and is finally here in the US on the Sprint network. The Marquee is a Android 2.3 powered device that sports a 4 inch Nova display, with a super slim profile that is only 9.2mm thick. Its got a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video chat and a 5 megapixel camera in the rear that shoots video at 720p( yep not 1080p that has become industry standard). A 2GB microSd card that is expandable up to 32GB. The LG Marquee runs a version of Stock Android 2.3 that comes with Sprint ID packs.
The LG Marquee is an extremely light device at roughly 102g and feels comfortable in your hands. The Nova display is clear bright and sharp, always for good viewing angles and a clear representation of what is one screen. As for the device itself, the LG marquee feel and runs like a low end Android devices, though I experienced no hiccups it felt a little slow and sluggish going across the home screens. There isn't much in pre-installed software; other than the Sprint software, LG Smartshare and Polaris Office. Good to keep the bloatware to a minimum . IN all the LG marquee is a Decent device and wont win any awards but it does work every well and would make a good entry phone for a first time smartphone user.
