I knew I wanted a bass solo on this album. Being heavily influenced by Cliff Burton, and the lead bass sections being influenced by his playing on Orion, I wanted to capture his spirit in some way. Of course, I didn't end up putting this as Aquarius, where Cliff's actual star sign would be, because I felt it could follow Virgo better. It was the most fun I've had recording a song, and I think is one of the strongest on the album. Good luck tabbing this, by the way lol... it was entirely off the cuff. Hope you enjoy it! :)
