This got INTENSE real fast! Lies Beneath really continues to pull no punches this week, it shows its true colours as a hardcore survival horror experience with no difficulty adjustment for VR players, as soon as I pick up the shotgun I'm immediately thrust into a situation that challenges me much more than any VR horror game has ever challenged me. Could this be the BEST horror game on Quest / one of the BEST VR horror games on Oculus Quest 2? It really does feel that way...

Let's continue this Lies Beneath walkthrough this week with chapters 5 through 8, a far more action packed & non stop installment than the previous episode, I've found my new favourite VR horror game and I'm loving it!

WELCOME, to Lies Beneath! A new week means a new VR horror playthrough, I'm always in search of the best VR horror games / the best Quest 2 horror games and this week I'll be starting my journey into the incredible & visually stunning Lies Beneath. This Lies Beneath VR walkthrough / lets play Lies Beneath series looks set to be a little longer than my previous Exorcist & Paranormal Activity playthroughs, the game comprises of 20 chapters & in this first almost entirely unedited chunk of gameplay I manage to blast through the first four...meaning we've got likely 5 or 6 more episodes of this game to look forward to.

If you're looking for the best VR horror games Quest 2 has to offer then Lies Beneath, a bizarrely underrated title, is a great place to start. With visuals that are designed to make you feel like you've been dropped into the pages of a comic book this slow burn survival horror adventure feels like a love letter to titles such as The Evil Within, Resident Evil 4 & some of the whackier Capcom horror efforts of the past (Killer 7). In Lies Beneath part 1 I set off in search of my dad after a terrible car crash leaves us lost & scared in an unknown, but oddly familiar, location. I get to grips with the combat mechanics, settle into the creepy world & take in the gorgeous visuals in todays Lies Beneath VR gameplay video, I'm definitely excited to see where this journey takes me & I can't wait to see what creatures this game has in store...
