Lets chat about the new Oculus Quest 2 update (v30 - bringing a whole host of new Quest features with it), the implementation of adverts in Oculus games (the ADPOCALYPSE is here), my Larcenauts review (is this Overwatch VR or DOA) and finally about Blue Box Games, is this unheard of studio really making an indie horror game for PlayStation 5 or is this a huge new Silent Hill conspiracy ready to be uncovered. It's time for some VR news/gaming news to round out the week.

I've always toyed with the idea of doing a weekly chatty video like this to summarise the VR news & gaming news of each week, I usually reach Friday with a bunch of opinions about goings on within the industry and it's nice to share that with like minded people. Let me know in the comments down below if this format or style of video is something you'd like to see more on the channel, it doesn't have to be just VR either, I'm always happy to do a general gaming round up at the end of each week/every other week.

Today we'll be talking about:

- THE NEW OCULUS QUEST UPDATE (Oculus Quest Update 30): Bringing Air Link to original Quest owners, microphone switching between parties & game chat, multitasking with 2D apps and some brand new accessibility features.
- LARCENAUTS REVIEW: Larcenauts VR launched yesterday to some fairly unfavourable reviews. Missing support for most VR headsets, some questionable VR design choices & empty player lobbies make this one a hard sell for now but something that certainly has future potential if they can fix the issues.
- THE ADPOCALYPSE IS HERE: Adverts will soon start appearing in some of your favourite Oculus Quest / Oculus Quest 2 games, is this no big deal or the start of something much nastier?
- A NEW SILENT HILL? (PLEASE): Once again the internet is working itself into a frenzy about a potential new Silent Hill game which is set to be revealed soon. A small unheard of indie developer called Blue Box Studios is starting to cause a stir with a series of strangely coincidental posts & hidden messages.
