Valheim VR is one of the best VR mods around but the team dedicated to making it keep pushing it to be better and the most recent update takes it to a whole new level. The Valheim VR motion controls update turns this wonderful little survival game into an "ALMOST" essential VR experience that's currently only really let down by some less than favourable performance. Valheim VR gameplay is certainly a lot smoother than this video makes it seem, the combination of capturing the footage with OBS, running the game, plus Steam VR & the mod itself meant that the processing required from my PC was fairly high. However Valheim VR is still a demanding VR mod even without the capturing aspect so make sure you're ready to give your PC a bit of a workout if you want to try this one...

VR is currently being kept alive by tireless modders & indie developers, whilst we all wait for bigger devs to take notice this passionate teams are creating wonderful VR content to keep us entertained. This Valheim VR mode / Valheim VR mod is just another example of the community creating a VR product to fill a gap in the market. Full motion controls turn this experiment into a fantastic and immersive experience, attack enemies by swinging your arms, pull back the arrows on your bow, chop down trees or mine rocks all with fluid controls, with a few more patches to smooth out performance this will really start to feel like a full blown native VR mode.
