Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII -Full Playthrough [Part 2] Luxerion: Side Quests
0So I've decided to play through LRFFXIII again for the 8th time. However this time I'll be doing all side quests in all 4 main locations such as Luxerion,Yusnaan,The Dead Dunes & The Wildlands. I'll also be playing on Hard Difficulty for majority of the play through. I have video's of me finishing the game already,but I want to go through it again trying to cover everything if I can.

Side Quests
Dying Wish
So Blythe will be sitting near the Residences at times 6:00-22:00.
If you go to the Warehouse District you'll find a blue obvious mushroom which is the Thunderclap Cap. Then if you go to Old Town you'll find a guy named Serger,who'll be selling the Shaolong Gui Shell for 600 Gil. Once you get it head down towards the South Station and go to the Inn near the General Store and Outfitters. Sleep at the Inn until 10:00 then go next door to the Grocer and buy the Mandragora Root for 400 Gil. Keep in the mind that the Mandragora Root is only available from times 10:00-19:00 at the Grocer's.
Suspicious Spheres
Talk to Virgil in the Residences are to begin the quest and then return to him afterwards for a reward. The first sphere is next to Virgil,which contains the "Prophecy of the Future" Libra notes for forth coming major enemy encounter. The second sphere is in the Warehouse District,at the then north end of the road that runs parallel to the Arcade. Which contains the "Cathedral Sentry Notes". Also there's 1-4 numbers there to acquire for the main quest as well. The third sphere is in the South Station region which contains the "Fanatic Notes". Which gives you tips on how to defeat the Etro Fanatic's.
Faster Than Lightning
Lamont can be found in the Residences with a flag on his back. Talk to him to begin the quest. All you have to do is "slowly" race him to either the North Station stairs or to the entrance to the Forsaken Fortress. He'll tell you which once you accept the quest. I say "slowly" race him because if you just run straight to the location he says,he'll get stuck and won't progress unless you're near or close enough for him to see you. Also if you talk to him he'll give you another number and tell you of the number he found/saw.
Stuck In A Gem
Gem can be found on the Pilgrim's Passage at times 15:00-3:00.
Simply talk to her to begin the quest. You'll then need to go to the Warren at times 15:00-8:00 or you can just sleep at an Inn until 00:00 (Midnight) then go to the Warren and talk to a guy named Rubio and he'll have you go acquire 2 Niblet hairs a common monster in Luxerion. Once you have them bring them to Rubio and he'll make the potion "Starlit Spice" for you. Then bring it to Ronan,who can be found surrounded by cats in Old Town. Ronan will be available to talk to at times 00:00-6:00. Note,be careful of the swarming cats and don't let them bump into you or they'll steal the Starlit Spice and you'll have to do it (have it made) all over again. Once you talk to Ronan the quest will end beautifully and you'll save Ronan's soul. Catch Part 3 to see the cute "purrfect" ending to this quest.
