Video on how to get the 'Perfect Timing' Achievement in Final Fantasy 13 Lightnings return.

This can be done in the battle tutorials in the prologue, Day 1.

Perfect timing = pressing the corresponding button for the guarding command just when an enemy is about to hit Lightning. In the prologue, the button for guarding is set to be X.

You will need to fight an enemy called "Anubis". He has two attacks - a horizontal sweep (harder to time), and a downward chop (easier to time). You may let him hit you a few times to be familiar with the hit timing. If perfect guarding is successful, the screen will show "GUARD" and Anubis will be knocked out / staggered, and the achievement will unlock.
