Chitose confesses that she is, in fact, Hisoka Tatara, and reveals that Eiji blackmailed her into defaming Kasuga and Kiryu, using her as their accomplice. At Seonhee's behest, Zhao joins forces with us as we confront Sawashiro at the Seiryu Clan's waste disposal facility. Sawashiro divulges that he has been working secretly behind Ebina's back to enact the Second Great Dissolution in memory of Arakawa. He realizes that Ebina's plan is a ruse, orchestrated after sending Kasuga to Hawaii, where Ebina used Kasuga to lure out Akane as a favor to Bryce. Ebina intends to strike a deal with Bryce to store Japan's accumulated nuclear waste on Nele Island, facilitating the resumption of Japan's nuclear industry and generating immense wealth for both parties.

Feeling guilty for betraying Kasuga, Chitose sets off on her own to find Eiji and Lani. The remaining Daidoji members brief us on Ebina's Palekana deal and their plan to stop it, using Akane and Lani as leverage in a proxy war against Palekana. They also inform Kasuga about Eiji's past: he is a former political reporter who believes he was wrongfully convicted of a hit-and-run by the Arakawa Family and was once a member of Bleach Japan.

Yamai later informs Kasuga that some of his men had betrayed him for Palekana and that Eiji had organized a joint attack on Yamai's hideout, prompting us to rush to save Akane. We arrive at a desolate village where Daigo Dojima, Goro Majima, and Taiga Saejima currently reside. Kiryu asks them to assist in the Second Great Dissolution, but they decline. Additionally, their meeting was secretly recorded and shared online.
