We won the lottery in getting Phase II entry tickets into the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. All two hour slots and we nabbed the peak lilac time three hours after they reopened using a ticket system.

I got back to my favorite place on Earth after being denied it due to Covid 19 for two months and a week. A long 45 days, let me tell you.

Rain clouds held off and we got 79 degree sun for our dive deep into the lilac zones.

I can't describe how healing and happy this place was. It was a perfect, heaven on Earth.

I got to forget the pandemic for a while in those minutes spent in the sun and flower perfume and I finally felt rejuvenated in more ways than just in the body.

Summer... is wonderful.. especially if it comes early, in May.
