I was TASing some LA with Swordless Link ,when I found this nice little glitch. While the level 0 shield glitch is old, I don't think anyone has seen level 0 sword before.

When you get the sword, bring up the Save & Quite menu and choose to S&Q. A few frames after, you turn off the console and turn it back on, the timing is 1 frame only, if you reset the game too early the sword will forever disappear.

You can't damage enemies with normal slashes, but if you spin attack it works. It will however do the same damage as a normal sword slash would have done with the level 1 sword. The music will continue to play through the whole game, with a few exceptions. But the good part is that there are no longer ANY owl conversations in the game (At least what I've tried so far)!! Another effect is that you can no longer steal from the shop owner, so you have to be legal..

I have yet to try what happens if you upgrade the sword at the Seashell House. There might be more effects if you do this glitch with other items, which I have yet not tried...
