9th WIP (Work In Progress) of my The Minish Cap TAS.
Total time so far: 01:18:36 or 282962 frames.
Rerecords: 188019

FINALLY done with this highly annoying dungeon... Thanks to the Ocarina Glitch I'm able to skip half of the dungeon, including the big key at the start.

Even though I'm able to run through some walls, I still can't get up to the levers at the beginning of the dungeon. If there was a way to get to the right lever this way, the flippers (And the whole quest to get them) would be skipable. Lots of testings have been made without success :(.

Controlling the leaf is once again a pain to do. It is sometimes faster to wait with the gustjar in order to get a boost around the corner, or just to get a better angle. I'm not 100 % satisfied with it, but that's the best I could do.
I also skip the ice block puzzle by simply pushing down the button and letting the leaf pass throw. Was originally found by TSA (I think...)

It is possible to push the left lever before the right one, but nothing will melt and you'll be unable to continue to the boss. The fight before the first lever didn't go as planned really. The manipulation was really annoying and this was the best I could do.

Ocarina glitch to the second lever FTW. I'm unable to go up at the screen with the water fall, as the game will take me to a different floor, as if you were climbing the steps. I have to play the ocarina again to be able to jump down the ceiling.

During the boss fight's second phase, i got a much slower pattern (suck, nut, suck, nut, nut) this was however not possible to change. I believe you can't have the same pattern twice in a row, that's my conclusion at least. So I got two nut-nut-nut rounds, which is the best option.

That's all for now, hope you'll enjoy the dungeon and see you next WIP!

This is a Tool Assisted recording. Meaning it was recorded using an emulator with slow motion, save states and rerecording.
