Linux Mint 14 Review - A Minty Fail
For anyone who likes Gnome 2 Classic desktop styling here we Linux Mint 14 Nadia.
Its also a comfortable style for Windows users, and is easy to use.
Linux Mint 14 comes ready to use out of the box with all proprietary Audio and Video codecs pre-installed, this includes: MP3, MP4, H.264, and Flash.
Mint 14 is based on Ubuntu 12.10, and they've made no attempt to correct any of the issues from Ubuntu, which as a result makes this one of the most slow, unstable releases of Linux Mint.
My recommendation - Stick with Linux Mint 13.
Changes in Mint 14:
Mint Display Manager (MDM) updated
MDM supports legacy Gnome 2 themes
Cinnamon and MATE desktops updated
Nemo (fork of Nautilus) added in Cinnamon
