Liquidity is gone, squeeze is here!
The stock market is currently experiencing a liquidity crisis and low volume, not just AMC, but the market as a whole. On monday only 9.2bn shares were traded across the entire market (FYI, in January 2021, AMC alone traded over 1bn shares, GME and other meme stocks also traded multiple billions).
The only trading is these HFT firms, ping pong-ing the price in their set range, retail investors aren't buying any stocks (other than AMC and GME) and they definitely aren't selling. Institutions aren't buying any stocks and they're also trapped and can't sell.
This will lead to a market crash, triggering the squeeze, where multiple billions of amc shares will again be traded in a single day.
