this completion is pretty substantial for a number of reasons. besides fluking this level from 15%, making this my best fluke by a longshot, this was also my 400th demon and 15000th star, which was a long time coming. im not one for milestone demons usually, but 15k stars was a goal that i wanted to reach at the end of 2019, so when i ended up not doing that i figured i should do it this time around. first krmal demon is always nice to have too, as i dont think i could've picked a better choice than this.

i think its safe to call this one of my favorite levels thus far, and i dont think any amount of writing here can really do the level justice. with that said, i do very much appreciate the thought put behind the execution of ideas. from the iconic decoration throughout, to even the more subtle details like your ship's movements matching the highs/lows of the song, lit fuse really shows off the highlights of krmal's creativity. despite this, it's hard to not call some parts of this level dated; the dual, for instance, shows signs of mediocrity with its large, daunting, somewhat static moving background, a contrast to other sections of the level. past these shortcomings, i can't help but recommend this to those that wish to get into krmal's levels. with rather intuitive gameplay, i'm happy to have completed this and am excited for krmal's other projects.
