when i first saw the layout for this level (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHkRLck1vkg), i absolutely fell in love with how short and intense the gameplay was; the prospect of an insane demon this 'straight to the point' is amusing to me and i wanted to capitalize on it. i reached out to inside to see if they wanted to work on decorating this, and to my surprise they followed through.

this took roughly two weeks to decorate, and although in hindsight there's aspects of the level we wish were more polished or better executed, i cant say i'm disappointed with how this turned out. as aforementioned, this is roughly insane demon, but i've played this level over so many times i'm curious if that ranking still holds.
