LITDOOM - DOOM 3 Mars City Hangar, Brutal Doom Survival Fork
0LITDOOM 0.59b and Mars City Hangar level by Deimos Anomaly, LiTDoom can be described as a survival themed fork, your character is way more fragile than regular Doomguy, also less overpowered. LiTDoom is a highly customizable DOOM gameplay mod where we can play as one of the four available classes - DOOM Marine, Survivalist, Scientist and partially hidden Doomguy class that is the most casual one to play. You can also adjust the sliders to increase/decrease a spawn chance of ammunition/health/armor/weapon pickups while playing the game, you can also change the slider of the damage you receive, by default it's 200% :). As I mentioned earlier your player character is way more fragile and slower than in most of BD forks, even the reload system is way more realistic, you lose all the ammo in magazine if if you reload it before firing all ammo. Thus it means that you must be fully aware that you should covers a lot during the firefights (you fragile and generally less dynamic), when your health is low, you become way slower and also your vision becomes blurred. You also have the possibility to store and use lots of items such as survival kits, bandages (useful when low on health), portable medkits, armor shards to repair your armor, multiple types of grenades, weapon modules etc. As written earlier, weapons are way different than in other BD forks, lots of them have really long reload times (especially your Rocket Launcher needed to be reloaded with every shot) and cannot be fired in long bursts because of recoil. But some of these weapons are incredibly potent in terms of firepower and sheer destruction, once you find the Plasma Rifle for example, it becomes way easier because its sheer power is able to kill most of lesser demons with one shot. Alas there is always a drawback when you these weapons way too often or you simply have a bad luck, weapons can simply break down making them unavailable to use till you find their replacemenent elsewhere on the map. The monsters are also upgraded and they come with new powers such as Pain Elementals spawning Trites and fleshspawns, more Zombies armed with heavy weaponry such as Chainguns, Assault Shotguns, Plasma Rifles and Rocket Launchers.
