596BRUTAL DOOM KICKASS EDITION v4 ETERNAL Update, by D-boi - this is a Brutal Doom fork together with Quake II PSX Reborn WAD on Ultra-Violence difficulty level, 100% Secrets achieved. BRUTAL DOOM KICKASS EDITION had received a small update called 'ETERNAL' and it's available for download from MODDB, probably this is the last version of the mod available (or not, dunno). Modification of course is a Brutal Doom fork but in my opinion this is one of the hardest BD forks available to download (excluding LitDoom that of course is unique and aimed at survival gameplay) when on UV equivalent. The monsters in this mod are somewhat more aggressive and their damage is also increased, thus do not be surprised that you die way faster than in vanilla Brutal Doom, even Imps are really threatening here. In case of even more dangerous enemies such as Chaingunners they need to be taken down as soon as possible because they can easily shred you apart, same with Shotgunners, even basic Zombies love to perforate you. The Mancubi are even more threatening than before because of their fireballs and flamethrower attacks, being way too close to their flamethrower attack might result in Doomguy's quick death. But thankfully in Brutal Doom Kickass Edition your arsenal is also greatly expanded with massive firepower, lots of weapons have a big punch - Rocket Launcher here is one of the most damage dealing RLs in BD fork so far. The Assault Shotgun has another very useful secondary mode with FLAK SHELLS that simply launch multiple metallic hot projectiles at enemies simply shredding them, no enemy is safe from them but at cost of using two shells at once. Ballista is a very tricky weapon to use (Do not reload it manually because mod will crash, it's going to be fixed), same as in DOOM Eternal more useful against flyers than ground targets, because against ground targets Railgun is a way more useful choice. There is also a Nailgun that does not need to be reloaded but it has its own unique source of ammunition, it has a very small recoil and spread, as a secondary fire you shoot multiple nails at once in horizontal line.
