PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 - UAC Gauss Cannon from DOOM 2016 Joins The Slaughter!
430PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 together with Elementalism, The Sunken Temple Map from various authors, Chaotic Random spawn preset and the appearance of new addon, THE GAUSS CANNON. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Ok, at the moment I'm writing this video description (few hours before releasing the video), the Gauss Cannon addon is still not public but might be and ikdfa had nothing wrong against this material, so let's roll. For those who might ask why the Gauss Cannon is more pixelated than other weapons, the answer is also really simple - because it was not public at the day of recording, Neural Upscale addon can't have it :P. So the Gauss Cannon is an UPGRADE TO THE RAILGUN, once you pick up the Gauss Cannon from Backpack spawn (or summon pb_gausscannon) the Railgun is no longer an available weapon, but of course in my opinion this is a way stronger option. The damage of Gauss Cannon in comparison to the Railgun is slightly increased, projectile seems to be bigger thus impacts more targets than previously and of course there is no need to reload this weapon, threatening upgrade. As a standard you are immediately equipped with a Precision Mode, once you use a scope, the Gauss Cannon will recharge itself for a while, as in DOOM 2016 you fire a much stronger projectile that pierces anything on its way. Secondary mode is of course a Siege Mode, and in addition to the standard attack there is of course a way stronger charge attack that makes you slow when using, but three such attacks are enough to kill a Cyberdemon with ease. A small problem might be adapting yourself to this bluish big flash once you use the Gauss Cannon, and a slight delay but trust me, this is a very powerful weapon that might simply eradicate tons of monsters if you aim it precisely. And if you read this sentence please remember this is an ADDON that has to be loaded together with Project Brutality, and this is not a separate weapon but an upgrade to the Railgun, once Gauss is picked up, Railgun is no longer available.
