Locating Langston's Runaways, Cleansing The Anchor & Speaking With Dylan/Hiss (Control Ultimate 5)
I never tried to find the stray Altered objects before and I can say they aren't as annoying to locate. Seeing how The Fridge technically is an Altered Object I was kinda felt that I might run into a few more fights, but the biggest issue was mainly locating the objects.
The Moving Letters- was pattern recognition and that wasn't the worse. The difficult part more sore was locating the sections. There were 3 in the dead letters section and I'll admit I struggled to figure out where each section happened to be.
Traffic Light- I remember this one and it wasn't terrible, just playing some red light, green light. I did screw up the timing a few times, but overall I think I spent the shortest time on this one.
The Japanese Lantern- there isn't anything super special about this one other than finding it buried under some clocks after defeating a few Hiss.
Hand Chair- I went around in circles trying to figure out where the item was despite maybe looking directly at it maybe 6 times on the ceiling thinking it was a normal part of the room.
After finding all the runways I as surprised to get a new list of ones to find, but I suppose side missions will give me something to fall back on when I'm between the plot progression. Either way I looked at the locations and knew I couldn't find all of the runways with hitting the next plot point, so decided to focus going after the anchor. I died a few times more than I should have, but I emerge victorious and was feeling so proud of myself that I attempted to do a Juke Box run. I ended up running out of time, but I think I made an improvement of my last run instead dying to much of complete this missions. After losing the run I decided that we should end the session by talking to Dylan.
I officially have progressed further in the story than my previous play through by talking to Dylan. That said I will say that this was an interesting session. Meeting Dylan was super interesting because he apparently is part Hiss? He could talk in this weird 3rd person perspective like he is aware of everything and also apart of the collective mind that is the Hiss and I'm very interested in a line of dialogue he says "I Let The Hiss In" and the logic of that is making me question the previous director and Darling where ever he may be within the building. Darling apparently knew something and tried to prevent this entire thing and I'm still trying to understand why trench shot himself which lead to me becoming the new director. Yet somehow with Dylan apparently being groomed for the director before some incident, I'm curious if Dylan somehow played a bigger role in how all of this fell apart, but I'll only gain that information if I progress the story and that will be next session. Although after talking to Dylan I did quickly chat with Pope who told me the projector is in the building. So the next session will be following up on what Dylan said and maybe finding some more answers.
