261. Enable the air to ground mode: "7"
2. Select your air to ground missile: Press "D" until you get it selected.
3. Turn on the laser: "O"+"R Shift"
4. Move the cursor on your HUD(Heads up display) to lock onto the target. Up ";" Down "." Right "/" Left ",".
5. Press, "Enter" to get a lock.
6. Shoot weapon: "Spacebar" for 2 seconds.
7. Enable gun mode: "C"
The Russians use lasers to guide their air to ground missiles, it is quite different from the American Maverick AGM which is an optically guided weapon. To use a Russian AGM, you must turn on the laser. However, it can be turned on for 40 seconds to 70 seconds before it overheats. When it does overheat it will shut down automatically. To enable it again press, "R Shift"+"O". Just like a Maverick missile, you have to use the cursors and get a visual lock. Slow your aircraft down to about 300 kph, and use your guns to kill as many targets in one pass. When doing air to ground missions, it is important to kill as many targets on the first pass. To do this, you must slow down your aircraft, but not to the point where it will stall and fall into the ground. Sometimes I use breaks and flaps to slow down the aircraft. After the pass, put the throttle to full to escape or dodge any ground fire headed your direction.
