Loki Episode 1 Ending She Loki Villain Theory DEBUNKED And Future Loki Explained
It’s come to my attention that there are a lot of holes needing to be filled by the end of the first episode of Loki. I should warn you, there is a spoiler warning here.
So, let’s recap the ending: A couple minutemen find themselves in the field of a cabin in the middle of Oklahoma. They prepare to charge a figure in the grass, they are then promptly lit a blaze. We know from Mobius that the variant that is causing all this carnage is Loki himself. Key word there: himself. You know a lot of people are pointing fingers to she loki or Lady Loki or whatever you want to call her and saying that she is the main antagonist causing all this trouble, that she is the one under the hood. But I disagree because of a very small detail. Rewatch the ending and Loki asks Mobius, “And you need the God Of Mischief to stop HIM?”
Very quickly, Mobius doesn’t disagree that the Loki running around is a HIM. Mobius actually just says it’s Loki. And Mobius would know if this Loki running around was a guy or gal because well he says that the variant is a fugitive, meaning on the run, meaning previously captured but escaped, meaning Mobius knew this fugitive. So, we have to assume that the Loki Variant that is running around killing everyone is the future version of our protagonist Loki that we are following throughout the series. Meaning, the evil loki has lived the sequence of events of his time with the TVA. The only reason why he would be interested in killing TVA agents would be because the TVA screwed him at some point. It reminds me of the Flash tv series in which the future Flash ends up being Savitar throughout the entire season. The flash that lived through all the future events. It’s the same story beats.

So, then you may be wondering, “Why the She-Loki set photo?” Well, you can see that throughout the other set photos, this was a day of filming in which they filmed scenes for She-loki, and scenes with the TVA no doubt investigating the recent TVA hit after the events of this episode’s ending. It’s important to remember that the longer this variant of Loki is living, the longer his branch gets and the more branches are created. More branches means more Lokis, more Lokis means more variants of Loki we will see throughout the show, meaning who’s to stop Mobius from recruiting more Loki variants to face this one Loki variant. Meaning, She Loki isn’t the villain like previously assumed.
And I know you are probably thinking, if this is a future version of the Loki variant, then why doesn’t Mobius just kill the variant now and well, problem solved. What good is that? You need to remember we’re playing by Endgame time travel rules which means THE PAST does not affect THE FUTURE. So, killing this Loki won’t kill him in the future.
I don’t know! Just a theory! What do YOU think?
