26 Easter Eggs + MARVEL References YOU Missed In Loki Episode 1 And Infinity Stones Explained
24We kick off the episode with the now iconic scene from Avengers Endgame of Loki’s escape, except this time seen mostly from Loki’s point of view.
The Gobi Desert in Mongolia is where Loki lands. In the Marvel Comics, the Gobi Desert is where the Mandarin tested Hulk’s abilities to see if he was fit to join him. Hulk refused, but we all know the Mandarin is the next upcoming villain in Shang-Chi and The Legend Of the Ten Rings.
The shot of Loki stuck in the sand, is a mirror shot, I mean the same shot of Iron man stuck in the sand from Iron man 1.

Speaking of mirror scenes, we get the scene of the agent lady coming through the portal and Loki saying I beg your pardon
I think we all know when Loki said he’s had his fill of idiots in armoured suits telling him what to do, we all know he meant Iron Man.
We then get a cameo from a skrull in the TVA
When we get a close up of our agent lady, her helmet has 80 lines etched into it. I assume each line is for every variant she has had to reset or prune.
Loki’s variant number is L1130. The number of which can be read as November 30th. November 30th, in Marvel comics history, marks the day that the first marvel western comic was created called Arizona Kid. We know from trailers, with Owen Wilson dressed as a cowboy, that we will be headed to the west so this number foreshadows that.

We get the Nexus reference in the form of avoiding a nexus event. You’ll remember that as of wandaVision, Wanda is a Nexus Being meaning she is able to affect the future in any way she wants because she can affect creation. This is a threat to the TVA because the TVA are designed to be the ones in control. Not Nexus beings. Meaning Wanda has a new threat to lookout for in her adventure in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.
When the Multiverse war is being shown, the blue guys tio the left I think are supposed to be Kree.
We head to France in 1549 to the first attack by the show’s Loki variant villain, when one of the TVA minutemen
9 units are written on the blueberry bar that was given to the little girl at the church.. Units we know from guardians is the universe's form of currency meaning the Loki underwraps here has been traveling both time and space.
The judge says Loki has a Sequence violation of 72089
The judge explains that time travel in Endgame was supposed to happen, remember doc strange said the 1 way the Avengers beat Thanos is this way, the way everything played out using time travel.
Mobius says there is a Nightmare department in reference to nightmare the villain of Doc strange 2.

Then in the the Time Theater, we get scenes from The Avengers, like the opening, Coulson’s death, and more as well as Scenes from Infinity war like Loki’s death, and scene from Thor The Dark World, primarily Frigga’s death as we know Loki was closest with his mom and the scene of Odin dying in Thor Ragnarok.
Time Twister marvel: Mobius calls the time device used throughout the episode his time twister. Except for the fact that the time twisters are actual beings which only transcend backward in time which is perfect as we know the time twister used in the show is designed to send people briefly back in time.
Casey marvel: Casey is a desk jockey character in Loki
Now, in that desk of stuff at Casey’s desk, we see a lot of Infinity Stones. It’s strange that they are there and in plus numbers but, I think I can explain them. The infinity stones are there because just in case any infinity stone loses its place in the timeline
There’s also the metal skeleton of a mini arc reactor in there. Then there is a plate looking very tropical which could be from The Eternals wedding possibly. There’s other things that I can’t quite make out the origin of.
