3Long Plays #118. It is the year 2034. Beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro, the remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats from outside – and within. Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the desolate surface, and hunt amidst the poisoned skies above.
This is the hunnityateteenff entry of my Long Play series. This one in particular, is my first playthrough of the sequel to metro 2033 and this is Episode #1 of that playthrough.
The idea of a long play is, to capture the raw game play experience, with little to no added commentary, effects, jokes, memes, jump cuts, edits or otherwise molest the original game play recording. I believe a long play should not be a review, tutorial, or anything else to effect the experience of the actual game play (that would be the purpose of my "Let's Try Out" or a "let's play" video series). I think mostly this sort of video formula is employed when playing single player only games where story and experience is largely structured, linear, non open world, and non-emergent gameplay.
