FROM THE VERGE
Nintendo's been talking about its upcoming NX system for what feels like forever without giving off any meaningful details, but it sounds like the company's ready to spill more. It just announced that it'll reveal an NX trailer on Thursday morning at 10AM ET, though don't expect to get answers to all your questions — Nintendo says the three-minute trailer will be a "first glimpse" that serves as the company's "preliminary announcement of information regarding the platform."
The NX is set to be released in March, so Nintendo doesn't have a lot of time to build up to the launch. After tomorrow morning, though, we should at least have some idea of what's in store. The system is rumored to be a hybrid handheld device that connects to TV sets in some way.

FROM FORBES
If you thought social media couldn’t explode any more than after Rockstar unveiled Red Dead Redemption 2 this week, Nintendo has finally revealed when they will announce the long-awaited NX.
According to a tweet from Nintendo of America, a “Preview Trailer” will debut at 7 AM PT/10 AM ET tomorrow. That’s literally all the information given, along with a weirdly unsettling picture of Mario. But it’s cause for celebration all the same.
Nintendo has made fans and press alike scratch their heads for eons now as they previously said the Nintendo NX wouldn’t be discussed at all in 2015, then wouldn’t be seen at E3 2016, and then still was not announced even as we’re now less than six months away from a promised March 2017 release.
It is unclear whether or not Nintendo will stick with that initially promised date with a late October announcement. It would be a very short window, shorter than what nearly every other console, including Nintendo’s own, has had between reveal and release, but it’s theoretically possible.
Similarly, it’s unknown what exactly we should be expecting from a “preview trailer.” With Nintendo shying away from stage shows, it seemed likely they would announce the NX in some sort of extended Direct. It’s possible this trailer will indicate a larger event or Direct to come, and there’s no telling how long exactly it will be. Presumably we’ll see at least the basic concept of the system, to see if it matches up with the rumors that it is intensely focused on being portable, and perhaps we’ll get a look at a few games running on it. From the sound of it, I would not expect a preview trailer to be terribly long, and that it would be more of a precursor of a larger reveal still to come. (Update: A translated Japanese Nintendo tweet indicates the trailer will be three minutes long)

FROM ENGADGET
After all the rumors, we're about to get a look at Nintendo's mysterious NX system. The company has invited everyone to check out a "preview trailer" tomorrow on Nintendo.com at 10AM ET. Nintendo Japan tweeted that it will only last about three minutes, so prepare your expectations accordingly. Nintendo already announced the console will launch in March next year, but other than the release window and a few game titles, we don't have much hard information to go on. What we do know for sure is that despite the success of Pokémon Go a new console can't come a moment too soon for Nintendo.
