This is a longplay of game Marvel Super Heroes - War of The Gems, action and platform game released exclusively for the Super Nintendo in 1996 in the United States and Japan and in 1997 in Europe.

It is based on the Marvel Comics saga: The Infinity Gauntlet (1991), written by Jim Starlin, George Pérez and Ron Lin. In the story, Adam Warlock asks Earth's greatest superheroes to help gather the Infinity Stones before they fall into the wrong hands.

This game covers the history of gems of great power and are being hunted by villains, these villains want to join them to get the Blue Gem, which originates with the union of all others gems. Under the supervision of Adam Warlock, our heroes: Captain America (Steve Rogers), Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Wolverine (Logan), Iron Man (Anthony "Tony" Stark) and Hulk (Robert Bruce Banner) need to travel the planet to not let these gems fall into the wrong hands.

The game follows the same style as X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, both in gameplay and graphics. In the game you can choose Captain America, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Iron Man and Hulk and play any level with any of them. In the stages, the heroes face evil versions of Marvel characters, in addition to a boss at the end. When defeating a boss, our heroes recover one of the infinity gems and these jewels provide unique effects (increase speed, increase strength, reveal hidden items, jump higher or have a greater amount of life), in addition to allowing the use of an attack special with the command Up + Front + Down + Y. Each character has different levels of attack and speed, Spider-Man and Wolverine can climb walls (even being able to access alternative paths in certain stages), Iron Man can double jump, Captain America can throw his shield at enemies and the Hulk has very powerful blows. There are items of orange color (to recover health during stages) and blue (to recover health before entering a stage). There is no fixed number of lives. When a hero dies, he needs to be resurrected by another, using an item (R), found during the stages or randomly in the training room (which also allows you to get the password to continue later).

It's a good game, but despite the qualities it has relatively imprecise controls to execute the special attack (unlike X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, which has better controls), in addition to having been released in 1996, when the Super Nintendo was coming to the end of your cycle. The video was made playing with all heroes and using all infinity gems.
Hope you like it.
