Lost Eidolons | Hard Maniac mode with turn limit | Chapter 4 - On the road to Castyllian
The monster's combat system is very interesting and I love it! But instead of using this system, I opted to attack its non-vulnerable areas to maximise the number of attacks. Basically, the more attacks I do, the more exp I gain. Which means using the hellhounde as training dummies. I tried making use of the system and killing the monster fast, but I end up 1-2 levels lower.
For this battle, I switched equipment around to maximise the number of classes unlock which I can train later:
- Eden - leather armor (to unlock fighter, switch back to plate after battle)
- Francisco - axe + leather armor (to unlock fighter)
- Robin - light grimore (switch to heal/support)
- Linard - Sword/shield + plate armor (switch to vanguard path, elemental to train later...also because there is only 1 grimore now)
- Marchelle - elemental grimore (higher magic/crit than Linard)
- Andrea - plate armor (to unlock squire, switch back to leather after battle)
