The fights to Threshold have so many allies coming to help. I didn't had such aid when I played my Lich. Come to think of it, my lich did killed most of the allies =/. Sadly, most of the allies died almost instantly, thus providing no help at all.

I was prepared for the companions' combat outside of the fortress but when I skipped the cinematics, somehow there was no combat. Not sure if it is because I activated the Purula's fall weapon before entering the Threshold Citadel.
