With level 3 jump, you can save a CHUNK of time in this stage. If you have level 1 or 2, you can still do this faster than using the vehicles, but it would require freezing some additional enemies and using different damage boosts.

The main thing I do here is double jump. After you get hit, there is a 4-frame window during which you can double jump. It is really generous after you get used to it. You normally have to use extremely slow vehicles to get over these gaps, but with clever spacing and damage boosts, I can double jump over these gaps and move MUCH faster. This is ~25 seconds faster than the SDA run getting to the final boss, and I still get there with a vehicle in the end.

It is possible and potentially faster to jump off a frozen enemy instead of doing that first double jump, and then just avoiding the 4 enemies instead of doing my second double jump. I like this strategy for now though. :P
