It should come as a surprise to nobody who watches the channel I have been critical of Limited Run Games in the past; from the Limited Run Games CD-R 3DO release of D's Diner: Directors cut to the recycled chips in Shantae on GBA...but I was contacted by Limited Run games and offered a preview copy of Doom on SNES with the new Super FX 3 chip design for Limited Run Games Doom on SNES.
I chatted with the team behind the release and LRG has brought on new staff to get the quality of their releases up to a standard I'd expect out of a company like LRG. So are the LRG controversy days behind us? Let's find out! With a Limited Run Games Doom review...of sorts!

Patch Notes: Fixed Analogue Super NT booting
Game logic timing adjusted closer to original PC version
Player Movement speed adjusted
Enemy Movement speed adjusted
Animation speed adjusted
Flicker in areas with lots of action is fixed
Freeze when bringing up menus is fixed
Ammo for "I'm Too Young To Die" and "Nightmare" is now doubled
Some sound effects were adjusted to be correct
Credits background is now darker to improve visibility of text
Miscellaneous fixes to some level textures and features
