LRVG 8 vs 16 bit Challenge 1 - Response
11@londonretrovideogames1473 has a challenge up for a few weeks in which he proposes that older folks such as myself, who grew up with 8-bit systems, play a 16-bit game that he grew up with and knows well, and then propose a game from an 8-bit system for him to try. Clear?
The inaugural challenge 16-bit game is "Sonic the Hedgehog 2". In this video I give it a solid play, and then propose one of my own favourites. I couldn't think of anything directly comparable to the Sonic franchise. I contemplated it a bit and decided to stick with a platform game, of sorts, and one of my best-loved games from back in the day.
