Today, In honor of it's upcoming August 7th, 19 year anniversary, I review the Adult Swim Movie... The Venture Bros. Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart.
The Venture Bros is the longest running Adult Swim original series, but it would have been more impressive if we had gotten more seasons, the production release time was bad.
This film is rated M for mature. It features graphic violence, un bleeped swearing, and a visual that would be blurred out if on normal TV, so PLEASE watch with responsibility.
The movie takes place immediately after the end of Season 7. It feels like 3 episodes just flowing nicely together, kind of like how the start of season seven felt like a split up movie. The movie answered some questions, acknowledged it's own history of the series, and left enough open that if we, as highly unlikely as it seems, continued with another season, we could. A very good story with new characters, and bringing back some previous ones. I will be watching it multiple times to catch all the Easter eggs. I include one small Easter egg after the main review.
I give this movie a solid 10 out of 10.
